The purpose of the organization is to engage in activities that: further the historical ties of the United States of America and Ireland, especially as they relate to educational efforts that focus upon democratic, legal principles and practices; support and promote various humanitarian causes that are consistent with the democratc principles of both countires; and encourage public spirited citizens of both nations to come together in a mutual effort to further the rights of all people to enjoy the fruits and blessings of liberty.
